About

My name is Kristin, and I’m 28 years old. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Alex, for 4 years now. We are both in our last semester of college–we will have our Bachelor’s degrees by the end of December! My major is in English, with a concentration in writing and a minor in communications. We recently just had our first baby, a little boy. Although having a baby, working, and going to school full time is all kinds of crazy, we love him more than we ever thought possible.  I believe in loving God and loving people, and try to reflect His love in my life and through this blog.

Reading & writing are my passions and I blame them on my mom. 🙂 She loves to read and write, and started reading to me practically right out of the womb. I’m a self described grammar nazi, and extremely sarcastic.  Writing is usually the only thing that can help me sort out my thoughts and feelings. While I hope that this blog encourages and helps anyone who may stumble upon it, a lot of times the posts I write are also to help me sort out things that are going on. And sometimes, they’ll just be random! They are usually just things that have been on my mind, or things I see in the world that I want to change. I have two areas of ministry that are close to my heart-youth ministry (specifically teen girls) and human trafficking/prostitution. I hope to someday write to bring love, peace and awareness to these two issues.

Of course, there will be plenty of times I just write something fun or ridiculous…because that’s just me.

Thanks for checking out my blog! I pray that God can use my words to encourage and bless you, or even just make you smile and give you a laugh. 🙂
